We have quite a few projects under construction and planning a few more.  We have highlighted a couple below for you to follow.  Along with these projects we are adding a mother in law apartment to an existing house in Housatonic, starting a renovation project on the lake as a result of a plumbing failure, putting the finishing touches on a fabulous home in Stockbridge... AND we are planning a complete kitchen/bath reno in Lenox, a large renovation in Great Barrington, a new construction in Becket to start in the spring, and working with the Town of Egremont to plan and project manage the construction of the new Police Station.

The late 1800's house was ready for and updated kitchen, renovated baths, and just an overall greening up!  We have added a screen porch on rear of the home over looking the gardens, comepletely gutted the kitchen area, and all baths.  The rough mechanicals are pulling together while we button up the exterior after the window changes in the kitchen and then we insulate.  We will be using 2" foam in all stud bays covered with a blown in fiberglass for a tight seal and high value.  The crawl space was hand dug out, insulated, a vapor barrier added and crushed stone for a finish.  Before we leave the basement ceiling will be insulated, the attic area insulated, and hot water pipes wrapped.  Stay tuned as we proceed...

The existing condo space had a horrible drop ceiling and full basement not finished!  We are going to maximize the basement space for shipping & handling, bathrooms, and much needed storage.  The first floor will have an elegant retail area that fronts Main Street and a spacious studio area in the rear for the inner workings of this thriving business.  Take a look where we're at!

The existing home had many issues for the family and it did not make sense to save.  We have demolished the home and we are waiting for a spring thaw to start excavation.  The new home designed by New World Home is fabulous!  The home looks like a period colonial and will have all the features and efficiencies of a 21st century home - "The New Old Green Modular".  The home will have reclaimed wood floors, high efficiency systems, hardi plank siding, Tulikivi wood burning stove, and many many more custom features.  Keeping checking back in to see where we're at...
