Planning a New World Home for spring start
Designed by New World Home check them out at www.NewWorldHome.com

The existing home had many issues for the family and it did not make sense to save. We have demolished the home and we are waiting for a spring thaw to start excavation. The new home designed by New World Home is fabulous! The home looks like a period colonial and will have all the features and efficiencies of a 21st century home - "The New Old Green Modular". The home will have reclaimed wood floors, high efficiency systems, hardi plank siding, Tulikivi wood burning stove, and many many more custom features. Keeping checking back in to see where we're at...
Architect Designed (fab pre-fab) Home in upper Connecticut

This architect designed home is in Litchfield County, Ct. It sits atop an engineered steel frame on concrete piers and floats over the site. The construction of the home exceeds Energy Star Ratings and will be heated via a Geo-Thermal system. All finishes were either chosen because of efficiency or renewable qualities. The heating is radiant, the hot water is on demand, the flooring and counter tops are recycled, and the insulation is foam. Our landscape team completed the exterior with stone patios, transition stairs, and raised garden areas.
The architect for the project was Tom Zook from Steven Harris Architects LLP in NYC.

Family Living

We designed and built this home for a young family with room to expand in mind. The home is a mix of modular and stick built constructions. Overall square footage is about 3800 sqft with 4 bdrms, 3 baths, large open living plan, cathedral kitchen facing south, and a fabulous screen porch. The home boasts 11 private acres, a barn, and beautiful landscaping.
A fabulous project!

Entertaining is a snap with the high end Viking appliances, beautiful cherry cabinets and stunning granite countertops. The first floor master suite with custom walk in shower and jet tub is a perfect way to unwind after a long day of entertaining. The lower level allowed for a large family room with a wood stove and another bedroom for guests. Our landscape team design/built this exterior - it is stunning!
